Who are we looking for?
Oracle Analytics Service Excellence (OASE) partners with the development teams within Oracle Analytics to improve uptime of the services offered (Oracle Analytics Cloud, Fusion Data Intelligence primarily).
The ideal candidate is looking to work in an agile environment on problems that are focused on improving uptime by reducing time to mitigation when issues are surfaced/reported by automated means or through customer incidents; contributing to code for automation of monitoring, patching, and remediation of service anomalies; and, working on projects that enable the business of Oracle Analytics to grow profits or shrink costs as they are identified and funded as priorities for our group to drive or participate in the proposed solutions.
This specific role is meant to work on both Europe specific restricted offerings of our services as well as the global commercial offerings of our services. The initial project will be working hand in hand with other OASE specific realm teams and the development teams of Oracle Analytics to replicate the best patterns and practices of running our services specific to a new realm. This includes but is not limited to building out service, patching, maintaining, monitoring, upgrading, monitoring, scanning for compliance, break/fix support, troubleshooting, working with generalists and specialists to address issues across dependencies that are found through automation or customer incidents.
