About the department:

The business support department at Novo Nordisk Iran plays a crucial role in enabling the efficient operation of all business processes within the organization. With a strong commitment to the company's mission of changing diabetes and other serious chronic diseases, the department serves as a backbone, ensuring that various functions work seamlessly together to deliver high-quality products and services.

The position:

The senior business support manager is responsible for overseeing general management, logistics, production planning, site strategy, finance, procurement, administration, and representation in the Local Manufacturing (LM) network. This role ensures the effective implementation of the Novo Nordisk Way, strategic objectives, and operational excellence across departments. It involves managing employee training and selection, optimizing stock and warehouse processes, developing site strategies, and leading finance and procurement functions while representing the site in cross-functional forums.

Provide guidelines to ensure implementation and follow-up on Novo Nordisk Way, strategic objectives, and Strategy to Action (S2A); oversee employee selection, training, and development to maintain high professional standards.Ensure timely product deliveries to affiliates, optimize stock levels to avoid production idle time and stockouts, and coordinate production planning to balance flexibility and stability.Manage warehouse operations, including stock levels of components, semi-finished, and finished goods; ensure efficient order handling from goods receipt to final shipping.Lead site strategy development,t including cost-effective production and shutdown windows, procurement process improvements, optimal resource utilization, and internal reporting for optimization.Oversee all finance processes, including controlling, budgeting, accounting, tax, treasury, and investment; manage procurement standards, budget processes, and external resources; represent Local Manufacturing Tehran (LMT) in LM network and cross-site processes.

Requirements:

A degree in Engineering or Business, with formal and advanced project management education, supplemented by people leadership or LEAN Six Sigma training.Proven project management capabilities and hands-on experience with LEAN Six Sigma methodologies.3+ years of managerial experience, including participation in site leadership teams within international industries such as energy, electronics, pharma, food, or cosmetics.Strong communicator with a proactive and visible leadership style; demonstrates effective stakeholder management and the ability to foster cross-organizational collaboration.Self-motivated, results-oriented, open-minded, and adaptable to change; works independently and collaboratively within global and dynamic environments.
