Typically performing under supervision, this role supports the analysis of service requests to determine circuit requirements and priorities and uses network provisioning tools to process customer service orders and network service activation. The Senior Associate Telecommunications Network Provisioning Specialist focuses on less complex network provisioning. **What you'll be doing** **Key Responsibilities:** + Performs provisioning of E1, E3, DS1, DS3, OC3, OC12, DSL and Metro Ethernet. + Places orders with Local Exchange Carriers (LECs) and other carriers, both domestic and international. + Collects and disseminates all support details with companies to order process (LOAs, CFAs, DLRs, ASRs.). + Utilizes provisioning, ordering and inventory software. + Verifies that confirmation and designs are received for the LECs and operating companies in a timely basis. + Provides accurate and timely updates to both customers and internal groups. + Escalates complex provisioning issues. + Maintains current database on all orders. + Interfaces with customers through lifecycle of circuit implementation including completion of test and turn up. + Coordinates work and maintenance activities with customers, vendors and internal team members. + Performs any other related task as required. **Knowledge and Attributes:** + Developing proficiency in network provisioning tools and software. + Good attention to detail and accuracy in configuration and provisioning tasks. + Displays ability to plan effectively and make sound decisions. + Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. + Displays ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and highly energetic environment. + Displays ability to problem-solve and apply critical thinking. + Developing knowledge of circuit related troubleshooting techniques. + Developing fault identification and analysis skills. + Developing knowledge of business and best practices through the understanding of key business drivers and recognition. + Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. **Academic Qualifications and Certifications:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Telecommunications or Information Technology, or related field. + Relevant certifications such as Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are advantageous. **Required Experience:** + Moderate level of circuit inventory management experience, preferably gained in a large-scale organization. + Moderate level of demonstrated experience working with and provisioning to third party carriers. + Moderate level of demonstrated experience documenting network facilities and circuits. + Moderate level of demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. + Moderate level of experience in service orders; facility orders, circuit orders, FOC, CFA, DLR and ASR’s. + Moderate level of related telecommunications provisioning experience. **Workplace type** **:** Hybrid Working **About NTT DATA** NTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
