As a Senior Application Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, you will be responsible for providing technical application, training, and marketing support for pre-sales and post-sales activities, primarily focusing Clinical Chemistry, and providing cross-functional support in Hematology, Immunoassay and prospectively Automation in Singapore.
This role, based remotely, is part of the Customer Support Team, reporting to the Application Supervisor. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be part of the Service Team and Report to the Application Supervisor. You will offer primary Field Application support, and collaborate with inter-departmental teams,
addressing customer concerns with urgency and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to build a world-class customer support organization.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
· Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, support for installations, calibration, IQ/OQ/PQ verification, and issue resolution. Analyze Reaction Monitor data, instrument logs, and data trends to diagnose and resolve issues. Escalate issues to global and regional teams as required.
· Conduct application trainings (where applicable), develop custom materials, and lead presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
· Provide product support, drive menu expansion initiatives, and offer technical insights during pre- and post-sales engagements.
· Document, escalate, and resolve issues with Field Service Engineers, ensuring customer satisfaction and instrument uptime through follow-ups.
· Proactively engage with VVIP customers, address concerns, and drive long-term relationships to enhance customer satisfaction.
· Lead installations and evaluations, provide input for tenders, manage consumables, collaborate closely with Field Service, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to resolve issues and share feedback, ensuring cross-functional alignment for success. Remote support may be needed for SEA countries for application-related queries.
The essential requirements of the job include:
· Education – Degree or equivalent in Med Tech or Science related subject
· Experience – Previous multiple years of experience in a clinical laboratory or related commercial field in the same capacity in an international organization
· Requirement Skills: Ability to monitor, analyze, and assess product performance, as well as oversee technical planning, customer training, and implementation for Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and prospectively Automation products. Ensure continuous updating of product knowledge and skills to effectively perform application and technical support tasks. Strong proficiency in the English language is essential.
· Preferred Skills - Demonstrate top tier communication skills; strong interpersonal and customer handling skills and provide guidance or coaching within the team, customers and across functional groups
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
· Ability to travel within SEA –5% travel to support operator, application training and application related task within SEA
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
· Experience in implementing projects across multiple product portfolios or fields in Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, and Hematology.
