What You'll Do

As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage Ii a Client Focus role within BCG's Operations Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized BCG Vantage assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related expertise, etc.). You will contribute on cases and proposals by contributing relevant analysis and insights and help case teams create strong impact for the client. While contributing to client cases, workshops and proposals, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.

The Operations Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practices and helps our clients create competitive advantage by enhancing their performance and building strategic capabilities.

The Service & Support Operations Topic Area is an expert network of knowledge team members and experienced consultants who help clients on specific cases related to the functions and disciplines within the topic (e.g., overhead cost analysis and reduction, corporate function efficiency and effectiveness, etc.).
As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, you will support your Service & Support Operations topic by developing intellectual property & assets for the business and by supporting commercialization efforts for the topic in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials.

Additionally, as an expert in cost excellence, your contribution will range from remote ad-hoc support to global case teams to full staffing on a module or case, occasionally on client site. You’ll master BCG’s methods and tools and deliver both customized cost analyses, e.g. benchmarking diagnostics, as well as insights to case teams and will contribute to problem-solving discussions.

What You'll Bring

2+ years of consulting experience in relevant corporate function cost efficiency projects required; candidates with consulting experience preferredIn lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferredBachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)Fluency in English; German language preferredHigh business acumen and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent analytical and slide-writing skills, with strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPointOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment
