Title and Summary
Senior Analyst, Finance Business PartnerOverview:As a member of our Finance Operations Team, you will have an opportunity to add value to the MasterCard Technologies business unit worldwide. This role includes divisional support including reporting, cost analysis, and related processes.
About the Role:
•\tMonthly accounting tasks including expense journal entries, accruals and prepaid amortization
•\tParticipate and support Senior Analysts in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecast processes
•\tVariance analysis and cost center management
•\tEnsure monthly/quarterly financial reports and related analyses are prepared timely as required by corporate guidelines
•\tAssist in the development of cost models for project justifications, savings identification and financial performance improvements
•\tSupporting the divisions to achieve spending targets
•\tAssist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly divisional reporting including financial risks and opportunities
•\tAssist with ad hoc special projects and financial analyses as assigned
About You:
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and results oriented, focused on challenging the status quo, aligning expectations, and leading efficiencies through ongoing process improvement.
•\tBachelors degree in Finance or Accounting required
•\tCPA and/or MBA preferred
•\tStrong Excel skills required. Exposure to Oracle and Hyperion a plus.
•\tStrong communication skills
•\tProven track record of managing relationships across a matrix organization, with strong communication and influencing skills
•\tDemonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
•\tAbility to perform in ambiguous situations
•\tWillingness to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with changing priorities
•\tResults oriented with a proven track record of successfully driving continuous process improvements
