The Senior Sales Manager, Travel Sellers, based in Shanghai /Beijing will be responsible for executing Amadeus strategies to expand Amadeus’ distribution footprint in the competitive and rapidly evolving China market. This role will be responsible for account management of assigned China OTA/RTA/BTA key accounts, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, conducting field sales activities, and growing Amadeus market share and revenues. This role will also provide dedicated business development support to collaborate with digital players in China who may enter the travel vertical. This role will play a critical part in Amadeus’ ongoing success in the Chinese market and contribute to Greater China account development activities.

In This Role You’ll / Your Main Responsibilities

Develop and provide support for customers' international market expansion activities, including but not limited to: overseas consolidator sourcing, coordinating and joint business pitches, market expansion status tracking and analysis, handling customer change requests, settings, Q&As, and coordinating resources across different teams internally and externally. Proficiency in using the Amadeus system and various tools is required.

Grow existing OTA/RTA/BTA, Meta Search, Aggregator customers and contribute to Greater China revenue targets. Grow existing customers' bookings & TAIT. Protect & retain accounts & adoptions from competition. Understand and identify customer needs and build long term relationships.

Act as the primary point-of-contact for assigned China key OTA/RTA/BTA accounts and manage all sales-related requests. Dedicate to customer all types of daily operational requests. Provide instant responses to customers according to China's fast-paced standards. Filter information and initiate escalation when needed. Facilitate global/local agreements, business sizing-related activities as requested. Prepare and conduct presentations, drive discussions, and negotiate commercials with customers. Conduct business case analysis and contract implementation. Be familiar with the customers and market to gather market intelligence.

Engage in business development for new opportunities in the region. Identify new business opportunities with new/existing customers. Identify new project opportunities and contribute to future revenues.

About the Ideal Candidate

3-5+ years of experience in the travel industry / OTA/ Travel agents, with a focus on strategic customer service management and extensive knowledge of GDS and OTA/RTA/BTA commercial policies, customer relationship management, business case management, customer overseas business development, and IT and product sales.

Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English is a must.

Extensive understanding of GDS and OTA/RTA/BTA business models, commercial policies, principles and contracting, international market expansion procedures, and management of OTA/RTA/BTA customer service issues.

Ability to conduct and drive Amadeus strategic and commercial discussions in both Chinese and English with Chinese and Greater China travel seller customers.
