About this opportunity
Ericsson Norway is located in Fornebu, Oslo, with approximately 100 employees. We are now hiring a Security Manager. You would be suitable for the role if you already having a couple of years of experience in the field and want to take the next step in your career. Most importantly is the motivation to grow and learn more. It is not required that you have experience in all the aspects of the role yet.
This position combines two equally important roles:
• Ensure that our desired security level is achieved throughout all in-country operations while contributing to team-wide objectives with our skills and expertise.
• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) and the Business Continuity framework in the Market Area of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
What you will do
• Assist in managing local security needs, ensuring alignment with global, local, and customer requirements, mainly;
• Provide input and support to the Ericsson Norway leadership team on security matters.
• Help coordinate security governance efforts and contribute to crisis management planning and execution.
• Work with other units to manage and investigate security incidents.
• Ensure physical security measures meet required standards and help assess risks.
• Contribute to security training and awareness programs.
• Participate in internal assessments and external audits, assisting with follow-up actions.
• Help build and maintain relationships with national security authorities.
• Assist in analysing external threats and implementing appropriate responses.
• Support Enterprise Security-related requirements in relation to engagements with external companies and organizations.
• Aid in driving compliance with the Norwegian Security Act and related regulations. (“Virksomhetssikkerhetsforskriften”)
• Assist in InfoSec and business continuity activities to protect Ericsson’s assets and business operations in a key market.

• A degree in a business-related or security field is preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience in security related tasks
• Having or working towards security or risk management certifications (such as ISO/IEC 27001, CISSP, CISM) is a plus.
• Experience in a Telco, software, or service company, or some exposure to military or law enforcement, is an asset.
• 1-3 years of working experience with ISO/IEC 27001, Risk Management, Audits and Business Continuity.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of IT-Security, Personnel-and Physical security, Crisis Management, Privacy requirements incl GDPR, Incident handling and Security Investigations.
• Local Laws & Regulations knowledge
• A well-established professional network
• Strong ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization.
• Demonstrates a high level of integrity in all actions.
• Security Cleared (or eligible for Security clearance in Norway)
• Fluent in Norwegian and/or Swedish with strong English skills.
Other professional & technical proficiencies
• Demonstrated experience in security management in a large, preferably multinational organization
• Skilled in security incident handling including investigation, root cause analysis and remediation planning
