Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all. **Job Summary:** The Scientist in the HC Early Research team will lead and develop new technology initiatives for mid and long-term innovation projects in the Home Care categories. The role involves conducting technical work on formulation fundamentals, utilizing specialized laboratory instruments, and collaborating with external partners to drive future innovations in Home Care. **Responsibilities:** + Conduct in-depth research to illustrate the mechanism of action of new technologies. + Create deep fundamentals in relevant formulations and new developments. + Propose and develop new methodologies for proof of benefits in new product concepts. + Lead multidisciplinary projects and technology transfer process to product development teams. + Build people insights required to justify the exploration of new technologies and proposals of new concepts of products. + Communicate strategies and innovation proposals to business partners, senior management and cross category functions. + Maintain effective written records of experimental work and observations. Detailed intellectual property, patentable developments, and new methodologies in Invention Records, Research Reports and Standard Operating Procedures. **Required Qualifications:** + English: Effective and fluent oral and written communication skills + Bachelor, Master degree or PhD in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Material Science, or related field. If only a Bachelor or Master degree, a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in R&D is required. If a candidate holds a PhD at least 2 Technical Publications, Review Paper or Scientific Publications are desirable. + Deep technical skills and abilities on adapting to different scientific fields. + Experience in specialized laboratory instrumentation and development of new instrumental methodologies. + Effective project management and leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary research projects simultaneously. + Skills in strategy definition and planning, along with hands-on experience in laboratory work execution. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Efficient skills on data management and statistical analysis. + Teamwork and collaboration. + Strong communication skills: clearly express scientific concepts and thinking. + Relationship Building. + Ability to prioritize. **Compensation and Benefits** Salary Range $ - $ USD Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
