Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Scientist ( Hybrid )
This position is responsible for providing Regulatory guidance to the global Mars Fishcare business. This role is critical to assuring regulatory compliance across the entire product portfolio including chemicals, veterinary medications, food, fertilizers and pesticides.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or related technical field. 3-5 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs in a heavily regulated field such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biologics, chemicals or logistics operations related to import/export compliance.Basic understanding of veterinary medical regulatory requirements and food regulations including AAFCO guidelines.Basic understanding of SDS authoring and hazard labeling requirementsHigh interpersonal and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Scientific, or Regulatory Affairs disciplines.Additional Regulatory Certifications.Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office tools.Basic understanding of document management/workflow software applications, and search tools.Demonstrated leadership, change management and project management skills.What will be your key responsibilities?
Maintains current registrations and submits new registrations as required.Submits requests for new SDS generation and monitors current product SDSs to ensure any changes are communicated accordingly to relevant parties throughout the Fishcare business.Reviews and approves labels, advertising and promotion material to ensure consistency with approved claims and regulatory requirements across product portfolio which includes chemical, veterinary medicine, pesticide, fertilizer and pet food.Deliver regulatory advice/guidance for the development and launch of new offerings into applicable global markets including import/export requirements.Supports response to Regulatory queries and escalates accordingly.Obligation to maintain/archive product data, documents, decisions and assessments in accordance with legislation and other internal requirements.What can you expect from Mars?
