SCFS Logistics Finance Senior Analyst

ABOUT UNILEVER IN KATOWICE 

It is Unilever’s in-house centre of business partnering and operational excellence in the area of finance services, supply chain, customs, procurement, integrated planning and performance delivery. There are 300 people in Katowice Hub. 

The modern Katowice Hub office, whose interiors were designed according to the principles of sustainable development, is located in the city centre of Katowice, Poland.  
We are working in the hybrid way to use the time spent in the office to influence collaboration and straighten the team spirit, using special designed for this purpose office areas.   

 

JOB PURPOSE 

​​SCFS Logistics Finance Senior Analyst​ is working closely with Logistics Finance and Business Units teams to give great service and finance support regarding month end close, forecasting, annual budgeting, result reporting and transfer pricing update. If you are keen to support Unilever Supply Chain agenda, then this role is just for you! 

 

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE 

​​Responsibility for the robust logistics finance process within SCFS Deliver team: Preparation and analytics for; Month End Close, Forecast, Annual Budgeting, Result and Transfer Price. 

​Analysing and explaining results.  

​Delivering high quality analytics services supporting business partners in decision making and value creation. 

​Communicating with Deliver Finance community to ensure smooth & effective finance operation, ensuring all issues are escalated and resolved within timescales.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED 

 

Experiences & Qualifications 

University degree in Finance 

Finance background- min 2 years professional experience in Finance 

Result and action oriented  

Pro-active customer service mindset 

Strong analytical skills 

Accountability and Responsibility 

Continuous improvement mindset – actively seeking of improvement opportunities 

Problem solving and bias for action 

 

Skills 

​​Very good interpersonal and communication skills 

​Ability to work within virtual community (with internal customers spread over many locations) 

​Financial Accounting Skills – fluency in cost accounting & reporting 

​Experience in Business Partnering area is an advantage.  

​Fluent in English verbal and written 

​Strong analytical skills required. 

​High proficiency in MS Excel (knowledge of basic & advanced functions; basic macros; pivot tables) ​​
