About the team:

 

Within the SAP Global Security and Cloud Compliance (SGSC) organization, our Defensive Architecture team works on the SAP Security Policy Framework. We define standards, hardening procedures, best-practice guidelines and review various security architecture design submissions across different departments in SAP. We are a geographically dispersed team and provide our services across all SAP departments with their varying landscapes, products, and services.

What does it mean: 

 

We monitor cyber-security organizations frameworks like from NIST, BSI, PCI SSC for modification and applicability for SAP SE. We are adopting the SAP Global Security Standards and complementing security specifications respectively or develop new SAP Global Security Standards and complementing security specifications. We are consulting SAP personnel and suppliers of our supply chain in the translation down to their particular IT technology, -environment and -use case, and confirm their secure architecture design adherence with SAP Global Security Standards.

During your internship, you will:

 

Analyze, design and advise on security solutions. Your tasks will be to evaluate security architectures, tools, solutions, gather requirements and aid in developing secure architectural strategies with business and tech stakeholders. Work with infrastructure and application teams will be crucial to ensure adoption of state-of-the-art security standards and frameworks. As a trusted advisor, you'll assist internal customers in enhancing their security posture.

This role provides a varied exposure to different security domains and continuous stakeholder engagement - an ideal path for aspiring security professionals. 

 

Who you are:

 

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning

University degree in Computer Science or comparable education Good knowledge in IT Security / Cyber Security Technical knowledge of cloud offerings of the major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) Result orientation and execution focus  Proactive behavior, quick learner, passionate, motivated and self-managed  Strong communication & presentation skills both written and spoken in English
