Job Overview:
The SAP Concur Integration Consultant (IC) supports and implements the technical aspects of SAP Concur core products.
This role is responsible for understanding the business requirements related to customer integration, helps translate customer requirements into technical application design, and potentially configures & supports integration-related components of SAP Concur systems. This role also works closely with SAP Concur’s Implementation Project Managers, Integration Developers, and customer teams to facilitate data transfer between SAP Concur systems and the customer’s systems. Common types of data streams include employee profiles, charts-of-accounts, pick-list items, financial postings in GL journal, vendor bills, AP invoices, and expense reports.
Responsibilities as an IC will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Act as a subject matter expert in SAP Concur data integration services and core products (expense, invoice, and travel) to guide customers in best practice configuration and integration designs. Represent functional expertise in creating/reviewing transactions in third-party accounting systems. Lead assigned data integration projects from initial contact to project close and transition to support according to SAP Concur project methodology. Manage customer’s expectations (internal and external) with regards to project objectives, deliverables, timeframes, etc. by understanding the key business drivers and their prioritization. Utilize technical skills to support customer’s testing efforts and troubleshooting connectivity, data transformation and posting issues. Ensure completion of deliverables, managing schedules, meeting milestones, delivering within budget and committed project deadlines. Build relationships with SAP Concur’s 3rd party partners to ensure seamless and successful integrations. Work on support cases from the data integration queue through to resolution and/or escalation to R&D. Maintain knowledge of 3rd party tools (e.g. Kibana, Postman, Github, etc). Consistently communicate project status with the SAP Concur project manager and/or customer through status reports and status calls (as applicable). Develop and maintain knowledge of SAP Concur’s functional and technical product knowledge, implementation practices, and methodologies. Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies (e.g. data security, compliance, audit, etc).

Qualifications
Education, Experience & Training required:
BS in Computer Science or any other technical degree Degree in Accounting, a plus Minimum of two years of enterprise-level technical project management, consulting, and/or software implementation experience Experience in technical consulting, customer-facing/service roles Experience with software API development tools such as Postman, Insomnia, Bruno, etc. Experience with XML or API (Web Services) Experience with one or more of the accounting packages listed above in the job description Experience with financial applications and knowledge of accounting processes, a plus Experience with SAP Concur or SAP, a plus Leverage expertise with applicable IPAAS tool(s) Full life cycle of financial system implementation experience Proficiency in setting up SSO, FTP, file import/extract interfaces, a plus Software Developer/Development experience (e.g., using Python programming), a plus Ability to pass a background check
