Job Description

Position Overview:
The SAP Authorization Consultant will be responsible for supporting SAP S/4HANA, Fiori roles and authorizations, user administration activities. The role includes analyzing and resolving user access issues, performing troubleshooting, and delivering effective solutions in a timely manner.

 

Technical Expertise:

Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA, IDM and ECC security L2 support.

Working experience in creating, modifying, and troubleshooting SAP authorization roles (single, composite, and derived).

Working Experience with SAP user administration and role assignment via SU01, SU10, PFCG, and related transactions.

Experience in SAP Fiori security – role creation, catalog/group/tiles assignment, and troubleshooting.

 

Work Experience in IDM implementation and Support

Good understanding of authorization concepts in various SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, PP, HCM).

Proficiency in using security troubleshooting tools like SU53, ST01, STAUTHTRACE, and SUIM reports.

Experience in transport management for authorization roles.

Other Technical Skills (added advantage):

Exposure to SAP GRC Access Control workflows and risk analysis.

Awareness of SAP Cloud security and Identity Authentication Service (IAS) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and client-facing experience.

Team collaboration and stakeholder management experience.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Educational qualification:

BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)
