**Additional Information** **Job Number** 25074510 **Job Category** Sales & Marketing **Location** London GSO, 86 Fetter Lane, London, London, United Kingdom, EC4A 1ENVIEW ON MAP (https://www.google.com/maps?q=London%20GSO%2C%2086%20Fetter%20Lane%2C%20London%2C%20London%2C%20United%20Kingdom%2C%20EC4A%201EN) **Schedule** Full Time **Located Remotely?** N **Position Type** Management **Position Summary** As a Sales Support Executive, you will be responsible to execute the merchandising of group sales opportunities by using Marriott’s sales information systems and technology: + Supporting our Account directors with group leads across various segments + Consulting customers on properties out of our global hotel portfolio best matching the request profile and individual client’s business needs + Ensuring business is transitioned to designated property appropriately and in a timely manner for proper service + Ensuring appropriate follow ups to convert leads in one of our properties + Participating in project and account teams, executing activities that support strategic account management and team-based sales models + Liaising with global teams located in other European and global offices to share ideas and collaborate on special projects + Providing a first class, customer service-oriented sales approach **Scope** The Sales Support Executive - Global Sales Organization provides support to the GSO. + Location requirements: The Sales Support Executive - Global Sales Organization is to be located at the London office. + Travel Requirements: There is occasional business travel + Language Requirements: English (fluent with business proficiency), Additional language skills preferred **About you** We’d love to hear from you if you: + Are passionate about hospitality, delivering outstanding customer and client service + Thrive working in a team whilst leading by example + Exhibit well developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients and staff at all organizational levels + Embrace change with an open-minded and dynamic attitude And have: + 2-year degree from an accredited university in High School diploma or equivalent required + Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing, or hospitality/ events related professional area OR a 2 year degree from an accredited university in any of the above areas + The ability to recognise issues and makes suggestions to solve problems in the interest of all stakeholders + Thorough knowledge of PC applications, including MS Office Ever since early years of our company, Marriott International has been guided by our core principle Putting People First.
