ROLE DETAILS

Role Overview

This role provides immediate response to operational requirements in a sales administrative environment, in accordance with SLA parameters. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.

Key Result Areas

Documentation Processing

Executes routine administration procedures to ensure immediate operational excellence in response to requests.Provides a service to customers (sales consultants).Responds to requests within SLA.Delivery incorporates some of the unit's functions i.e.: verify, quality assurance and checking.Delivers on daily production standards.Uses standard administrative techniques to coordinate and check own and peers work.

Accountable for service delivery through own efforts within SLA.Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality.Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal and team results.Accepts and lives the company values.

Role Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Matric.

Post matric qualification will be advantageous.

Strong Excel skills.

Experience in supporting a sales team.

Provides administrative services for the sales and distribution function. Generates sales forecasts, cost budgets, depletion reports, product allocations, and other administrative reports.

ResponsibilitiesSales Opportunities Creation

Identify potential customers by obtaining information, referrals, and recommendations from existing customers.

Document Preparation

Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.

Receiving Visitors

Receive visitors and respond accurately and promptly to a broad range of questions and issues raised.

Business Meetings/Events Arrangement

Schedule appointments, make arrangements for meetings and conferences, and organize travel plans, following instructions to ensure more senior colleagues or a senior executive make the best use of their time.

Product/Service Information

Provide advanced product/service information and respond to basic customer questions about the product/service.

Administration

Produce, update, and provide best practice support on Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems. Tasks may include purchasing materials, entering budgetary information, and recording time and expenses.

Operational Compliance

Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.

Personal Capability Building

Develop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
