About the role

We are looking for a driven and experienced Distributor Sales Manager (DSM) to lead and manage our distributor network and a team of Sales Executives. The DSM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, ensuring effective execution at the retail level, and developing a high-performing sales team.
 

Key responsibilities Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and distribution targets in the assigned territory. Manage and grow relationships with distributors to ensure consistent product availability and order fulfilment. Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Executives to drive secondary sales and improve market execution. Set targets and monitor daily/weekly performance of Sales Executives; provide coaching and support as needed. Plan and execute market activities, trade promotions, and schemes to boost sales and brand presence. Conduct regular market visits with Sales Executives to monitor execution, gather insights, and resolve market issues. Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and stock availability. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify growth opportunities. Submit regular reports on sales performance, team productivity. Ensure all field activities are aligned with company policies, pricing guidelines, and brand standards.
  Qualifications and skills

Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Experience in managing distributor networks and front-line sales teams 

Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
