About the Role

As a Sales Application Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the field-based Technical Customer Service (TCS) team and the Sales organization in the successful implementation and optimization of Diversey’s Suma (kitchen hygiene) and Clax (laundry) systems. You will provide expert programming, technical troubleshooting, and support for complex installations at customer sites.

Working closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs), Territory Account Managers (TAMs), and TCS Technicians, you will ensure professional, efficient service delivery that aligns with our sector value proposition and contributes to customer satisfaction and retention. Your role is also critical in driving the successful roll-out of new innovations and technical solutions across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support and programming for Suma and Clax systems to TCS Technicians and customers, ensuring correct setup and usage from the start.

Support startups of large customer installations, solving complex technical issues as needed.

Act as an expert advisor to the Sales and Key Account teams on the professional application of Suma and Clax, contributing to tailored customer solutions.

Support the roll-out of new equipment and product innovations, working closely with Marketing, Sales, and Global Portfolio Application teams.

Identify opportunities to maximize revenue, prepare cost estimates and quotes, and liaise with the responsible Sales team (KAM/TAM).

Ensure accurate administrative follow-up, including documentation, programming files, and centralized dose tracking.

Collaborate effectively with TCS planners and your manager for optimal scheduling and field execution.

Identify and address potential bottlenecks, delivering proactive and effective solutions to ensure smooth operations.

Your Profile

Education: High School diploma or Bachelor’s degree (technical, electronics, or chemistry background preferred).

Experience: 3–5 years in a similar technical field or professional environment (ideally in hygiene systems, equipment programming, or industrial cleaning solutions).

Strong PC and programming knowledge, especially related to dishwashing and laundry equipment.

Knowledge of electronics and/or chemistry is an advantage.

Fluent in English and French (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.

Solid problem-solving skills and customer-oriented mindset.

Valid driver’s license.

VCA certification (Benelux).
