SCOPE OF WORK:
The International Rescue Committee (IRC), works in the United States welcomes newly arrived refugees and immigrants, supports them in their resettlement, and provides holistic services to help them build new lives in their communities. The Safety & Wellness Intern will support IRC’s Safety & Wellness Program in providing mental health and psychosocial support services to S&W clients with identified mental and emotional health needs.

Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a master’s program in social work, mental health, and/or public health. Professional proficiency in an additional language (Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, and French highly preferred).Based in the US and a US citizen or US work authorizationMust be enrolled in post-secondary institution or have graduated from a post-secondary institution within last 2 years.Work a min of 15 hours a week, at least until the end of August for summer internshipsPreferred Qualifications:
