Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips more than 4 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase her income and assets on supported land by more than 40 percent, while permanently improving her climate resilience. About the Internship Program

Join the One Acre Fund 2024 Internship Program to jump-start your career – We empower you as you grow in this program designed for motivated young professionals. As a One Acre Fund Intern, you will gain experience working in one of the leading institutions in the agriculture sector in Rwanda and beyond, where you will solve challenges, develop solutions and learn from inspiring leaders.

About the Role

The CITO Tech will be in charge of technical service provider within the CITO team focusing on endpoints and networks.  You will be a part of our IT Operation Team and will report directly to Rwanda IT Operations Administrator. This role is based in Rubengera / Rwanda.

Responsibilities Resolve up to Tier 2 Technical (endpoints and networks) incidents and service requests within Service level agreements. Help improve ticket documentation by logging essential details in the system. Comply to endpoints (laptop and tablets) and networks processes. Follow detailed procedures for troubleshooting hardware, software, and user errors. Career Growth and Development

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

3 - 6 months of experience in IT related fields. Foundational networking skills Technical Skills, Understanding of: Mobile Device Management (MDM) Tools Windows and Android OS Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) Preferred Start Date

Benefits

Interns will be provided with a reasonable stipend for the duration of their contract. Rural area based fellows will be provided assistance in locating suitable housing.

Eligibility

This role is only open to citizens or permanent residents of Rwanda.
