The Opportunity:
The focus of this position is to directly support Regional Maintenance Modernization Coordination Office (RMMCO) and Logistics efforts at Ship Repair Facility, Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC). This includes receipt, management, and validation of AIT deliverables, RMMCO check-in, check-out and statusing, processing APACs and country clearance validation. The work will be performed in accordance with the relevant guidance, including but not limited to, the Naval Modernization Process Manual (NMP-MOM), the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), the Availability Management Manual (AMM), and the Advanced Industrial Managment – Next Generation (AIM-NG) Process Manual. This position is also responsible for Singapore access request. The work will be as part of a team and will include significant interaction with personnel from both internal and external stakeholder personnel.

Responsibilities:

Perform RMMCO functions at SRF-JRMC.Develop AIT Certification Memo that meets the needs of Program Sponsors, Maintenance Providers, and Project Team Leadership.Track the travel of AITs and OSICs from the PARMs thru RMMCO Check-in for all modernization efforts.Review AIT binders for completeness of all modernization deliverables.Maintain current Memorandums of Agreement for SRF-JRMC RMMCO office with each AIT.Ensure there is adequate authorization for each modernization effort prior to authorizing any work in RMMCO.Identify, help provide resolution for, and track actions associated with incomplete RMMCO and Modernization program requirements.Provide weekly reporting on AIT status to each project.Capture, identify, and implement Lessons Learned.Process all access requests for Singapore with US and Singaporean governments.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:
Required: 

Active Secret Security ClearanceThree to five years of relevant, related experience (Project Modernization Management or RMMCO office in a Shipyard or RMC environment)Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specificationsAbility to read and understand Navy Message trafficExperience with Navy Data Environment (NDE)Ability to evaluate and solve moderately complex problems with some oversight as requiredUnderstanding of Navy Modernization and RMMCO ProcessesSpecialized experience in one or more of the following areas: Command RMMCO Office Project Modernization Manager Project PlannerAbility to work both independently and as part of a team with little or no supervisionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to educate others on responsible tasks and requirementsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint)Ability to lift up to 50 poundsWork is performed in a typical shipyard environment with exposure to noise, dirt, and the environment. Wearing personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift will be required

$46,100 - $92,200
