As a Resident Engineer at Nokia, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our network applications within the Core Operations team. You have:
3+ years of hands-on experience on 5G core networks and Nokia mobile equipment (Nokia Equipment Identity Register or other Nokia equipments)Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, or telecommunications3-5 years' experience in network operations centre environmentsAt least 2 years in advanced technical support SME rolesFamiliarity with New Zealand telco industry, networks, and providersIt would be nice if you also had:

Conduct daily L1 and L2 operations, including alarm monitoring, fault management, and configuration/change management.Investigate and triage support tickets from the Surveillance Team, identifying network faults and performing fault localization.Coordinate with Nokia Care and Next Level Support for timely fault resolution.Deploy automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in system administration tasks.Support HSS projects, minimizing impact on customers and coordinating with operational teams during software/hardware upgrades.Perform system, database, and application administration, including backup and restore activities.Manage post-incident reviews and assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for continuous improvement.Provide performance reporting and monitor solution performance statistics to ensure optimal operations.
