Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and organized Reservation Manager to oversee all aspects of our booking and reservation operations. In this role, you will manage reservation systems, coordinate with internal departments, and ensure a seamless booking experience for guests or clients. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a background in hospitality or customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Manage and optimize reservation systems and procedures to maximize efficiency and guest satisfactionHandle customer inquiries and bookings efficiently, providing exceptional service at all timesCoordinate with sales, front desk, and operations teams to ensure smooth communication and seamless guest experiencesMonitor reservation trends and generate comprehensive reports for management reviewEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionallyDevelop and implement strategies to increase bookings and revenueTrain and supervise reservation staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and proceduresManage inventory and pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenueCollaborate with marketing teams to create and promote special packages and offersStay updated on industry trends and competitor practices to maintain a competitive edgeResolve complex booking issues and handle VIP reservations with utmost careEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies in reservation processesConduct regular audits of reservation data to maintain accuracy and integrityImplement and manage overbooking strategies to optimize revenue while minimizing guest inconvenienceParticipate in budget planning and forecasting for the reservation department

 


Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (required)Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a reservation management or similar role within the hospitality industryStrong knowledge of reservation systems and booking platforms (e.g., Opera, ResDiary, etc.)Excellent communication and customer service skills in both English and ArabicStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesExperience managing a team and working cross-functionallyProficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation softwareAnalytical mindset with the ability to generate and interpret reportsCertified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) certification preferredDemonstrated experience in revenue management and pricing strategiesStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededKnowledge of Egyptian tourism industry and local market trendsExperience with customer relationship management (CRM) systemsProven track record of implementing successful overbooking strategies
