Researcher – Computing Architectures

Purpose

To research and develop novel computing paradigms beyond traditional von Neumann architectures  To bridge the gap between theoretical computer architecture concepts and practical hardware implementations To drive innovation in computing architectures for AI/ML accelerators and next-generation telecommunications systems To define and contribute to medium/long-term business impacting research programs. To act as technical advisor towards various internal and external stakeholders through technical cooperation, customer visits & knowledge transfers.

Main Responsibility Area

Design and evaluate novel computing architectures for specific application domains (AI/ML, telecommunications, security) Develop proof-of-concept implementations of alternative computing paradigms Create architectural models and simulators for emerging computing paradigms, such as neuromorphic, quantum, or optical computing

Participate in research publications and patent applications

PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldUnderstanding of modern computer architecture principles and alternative computing paradigmsExperience with hardware description languages (VHDL/Verilog) and high-level synthesis toolsKnowledge of AI/ML algorithms and their hardware implementation challengesFamiliarity with one or more of: neuromorphic computing, quantum computing, analog computing, or in-memory computingExperience with performance modeling and simulation of computer architecturePublication record in relevant conferences/journals is a plusFluent in English and a natural communicator in a multi-disciplinary team
