What You'll Do

As a Research Associate within BCG Vantage's Global Research Organization team, you will form an integral part of our European GRO team. Through the delivery of secondary research, you will contribute to BCG’s client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases and business or internal development initiatives.

 

You will clearly synthesize, package, articulate and deliver your findings in a timely and accurate manner and conduct research on commercial, multi-industry and economic topics. Excellent organizational skills are essential for successfully managing a variety and volume of research requests by accurately summarizing data and facts into appropriate and timely output i.e. email, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Along with supporting research products (i.e. news alerts, company profiles etc.), you will also contribute to knowledge capture and documentation.

 

You will ensure delivery of accurate and insights-rich projects with a special focus on Principal Investors & Private Equity. You should be comfortable working with databases and enthusiastic about learning and applying digital tools and capabilities to enhance analytical depth and strategic thinking.

 

In this role, you will be expected to understand the deal environment and how investors evaluate opportunities supporting the PIPE practice area. Over time, you will regularly engage with seniors in the team to gain exposure to our casework and client teams.

What You'll Bring

Minimum undergraduate degree (a preference for a degree in socio-economic sciences, business administration or similar)Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial analysis and some previous experience in the financial area (ideally in private equity) as a working student or an internCandidates with an educational/professional background in research & data analysis preferred: you have a passion for uncovering insights through diverse sources, navigating databases, extracting and analyzing numerical data, as well as interpreting qualitative information from reports, articles, and other secondary sources to deliver comprehensive findingsInterest in private equity and infrastructure investor topics0-2 years relevant working experienceFluency in English and German (spoken and written).
