TE’s Application Tooling business unit, part of the Transportation Solutions segment, has a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position available in our European region. It is a remote position located external to TE’s HQ facilities. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing accounts, ensuring continued sales of TE's products or services. Incumbents are tasked with identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue from the current client base AND / OR Targeting new business opportunities, specializing in the acquisition of new accounts. Creates awareness and demand for company products.
They serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing needs and resolving issues to maintain satisfaction. Understanding client feedback and working with product development to adapt offerings are crucial. The goal is to sustain and grow the TE's revenue through strategic account management.
The position will also be responsible for managing the regional team of Inside Sales and Field Service Engineering. This position reports to the Global Director of Sales and interacts with all functions of the business.
Your ideal background B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred; B.S. in Business with applicable experience considered. 8+ years of sales management experience, especially in machinery, equipment, or manufacturing sales. Proven success in leading high-performance sales teams and executing sales strategies. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with multi-lingual abilities a plus. Ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive sales growth. Experience in contract analysis, and with building strong internal and external relationships. Self-starter, able to work independently and challenge assumptions while executing business strategy.
