Regional Sales Manager

Job Description:

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for managing business of assigned regional by setting the regional strategies to align with company ‘s objectives in order to achieve the business objectives - sales growth, distribution range in direct and in-direct market, Market coverage, Merchandising, Display and DSO, providing the development plan for Key Account Manager(KAM) , Area Sales Managers(ASM) to equip them with the coaching and training skills for their regional sales team to achieve the business performance and team effectiveness, monitoring the engagement of Sales team, communicating all sales forecast and plans, analyzing sales data and providing recommendations to improve and maintain business advantage in SPT/GT channel.

Key Responsible:

Drive performance in the following areas through sales associates by identifying opportunities, monitoring performance, providing support and recommendation Lead KAM and ASM meeting and sales cycle brief to cascade the sales cycle priorities and period sales plan to KAM , ASM and sales associates and conducting regional sales meetings in each period to

Provide sales cycle briefingDeploy sales cycle prioritiesCommunicate MARS key business opportunity and updates market chanceProviding recommendations or guidelines to the team for short & long term business solving

Conduct business review with distributors and top key customers in the responsible region Provide sales information/sales data analysis to the Regional team for sales performance monitoring by

Gathering and tracking all necessary sales data to update the progress to sales associates and follow up with them Preparing data, data analysis, market reports, action plans and recommendations for presenting to National sales manager or sales director in the sales period meeting

Work with the following key internal functions to make sure that all priorities are implemented and all information is provided or gained. The other functional which are

Customer Service/LogisticsAccount ReceivableMarketing/Trade MarketingManufacturing/Factory etc.

Provide input to demand planning on sales forecast in alignment with the sales promotion and activities in order to achieve forecast accuracy, product availability and stock Inventory level that support sales performance Coaching, provide support, guideline and recommendation to KAM ,ASM and sales associates in solving issues and driving business excellence Manage budget and control trade expenditure by overall as committed in the beginning of the year. Provide coaching and training sales team to equip them with necessary skills, especially in the following areas, and working with each sales associate to develop a development plan and identify a career path (short, medium and long-term) using the “Field Work Memo” to assess and develop business performance and core competencies in each sales associate Build team and boosting sales team engagement and morale while ensuring that they work in line with the company’s culture and guidance
