Corteva Agriscience presents an exciting opportunity for a **Regional Food Systems Leader, EMEA** **Areas of Impact:** **Regional Food System Strategy Development & Implementation** + Develop and implement regional strategies to support existing and pipeline business in alignment with Global Strategy. + Identify and develop opportunities to maintain and grow CP business via collaboration with food value chain + Anticipate global reach of EU Food Chain policies and advocate for / protect CTVA business opportunities + Gather and prioritize country-level Food System needs **Lead Regional Food Systems CoNNEXT Network** + Align Food System efforts for the region + Ensure knowledge sharing in region and to Global + Address Customer Needs related with Freedom to Trade – Customer Focus (Grower Outreach Documents) **Secondary Standards:** + Proactive Engagement + Coordinate to influence and shape secondary standards + Advocate for our products in Food Chain sourcing policies & lists **Relationship Building & External Influence** + Represent Corteva in key supply chain & food policy orgs + Segment EMEA food companies & influencers; prioritize for engagement + Serve as account management focal point for food company and packer, processor contacts **Communications & Training:** Conducting Internal and external communication planning for Food Chain. Provide training as requested **Locations:** Europe, willingness to travel across the EMEA region and occasionally globally. **Interacts With:** This role reports to the Global Food Systems Director. Works with colleagues in the EMEA and Global Businesses, and with functions such as Regulatory & Stewardship; Sustainability; Public Affairs; and R&D. Engages with external stakeholders, such as food company contacts, grocery retailers, certifiers, industry associations and/or relevant subject matter experts. **Requirements:** **Education & Experience** + Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Public Affairs, Food Systems, or a related field. + Minimum 8 years of experience in agriculture, crop protection, food systems, or related industries, including strategic roles interfacing with external stakeholders. + Background or significant experience in Public Affairs, regulatory engagement, or policy advocacy, particularly related to agriculture or food value chains. + Proven experience working across the food value chain (e.g., with food companies, processors, packers, or retailers) and familiarity with global and EMEA-level food system dynamics. **Technical & Functional Competencies** + Solid understanding of crop protection products, especially herbicides, and their role in sustainable agriculture. + Deep knowledge of EU food chain sourcing policies, secondary standards, and regulatory frameworks impacting agriculture and food systems. + Experience in shaping public and private policy to support business growth, freedom to operate, and sustainability outcomes. + Strong strategic thinking and market development skills, with ability to drive cross-functional alignment and portfolio success. **Leadership & Communication** + Excellent communication and advocacy skills, with demonstrated ability to engage with policy makers, industry associations, NGOs, and corporate stakeholders. + Proven leadership of cross-regional initiatives or networks (e.g., internal communities like CoNNEXT), including knowledge sharing and team alignment. + Experience in internal and external communications planning, including delivery of training and stakeholder messaging. **Personal Attributes** + Curious, courageous, and purpose-driven mindset aligned with Corteva’s values. + Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage complexity in a dynamic, multicultural environment. + Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness to collaborate effectively across global teams and external partners. + Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset. \#LI-OB1 To know more about Corteva please watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWdf\_kvmdSI Corteva Agriscience™ is an equal opportunity employer.
