Job Title: Regional Category Manager-ANH Vitamin Procurement

Your key responsibilities
• Work closely with global vitamin category managers and commercial managers, reporting market situation on a regular basis to them.
• Develop and manage relationship with strategic suppliers and track their performance
i. Prepare and lead fact based negotiation and select strategic supplier
ii. Manage relationship with strategic suppliers
iii. Continuously track supplier performance of strategic suppliers according to the guidelines of the supplier evaluation and audit policies
iv. Lead strategic supplier development activities; set up cross-functional review meetings with strategic suppliers in order to improve performance and further reduce cost
v. Initiate strategic supplier audits
vi. Identify potential contract improvement opportunities & re-negotiations
• Work closely with regional OU team, and be accountable for cross-functional team management within the spend area responsibility
i. Ensure effective performance management: set objectives, provide coaching and feedback and define individual development needs
• Oversee the development and execution of strategies through the strategic sourcing process and the process to select key suppliers for vitamin area. Manage collaboration for knowledge sharing and proper communication between Local Buyers, within the vitamin area by providing strategy and deep vitamin market expertise
i. Be a challenger in global category management meeting
ii. Validate the decision documents:
• Provide expert input on regional meetings
• Be a key person for the discussion of issues
• Provide input on commonalities between Feed and Human spend area utilize synergies and copy best practices for process optimizations
• Manage relationship with internal customers
i. Collect and manage internal customers feedback on Purchasing organization to identify further TCO reduction opportunities
ii. Improve and reinforce ANH’s profile and recognition within the internal customer community
iii. Build credibility across internal customer community by providing them with the required expertise and support for all sourcing related activities within the spend area

You bring
• Knowledge: In depth knowledge of vitamin business and network with Chinese vitamin producers
• Purchasing processes (strategic and operational) in business-to-business context
• Educational level: Advanced qualifications in business administration, engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Recognized qualification in Purchasing is an asset
