The Regional Business Development Manager ME/A Region - Digital Pathology for Leica Biosystems is responsible for Maximizing revenues from sales of the Digital Pathology's products and services through a base of channel partners across Middle East and Africa.

This position is part of the META Digital Pathology Organization located in Dubai, UAE and will be Remote At Leica Biosystems.

You will be a part of the META Digital Pathology Organization and report to the Regional Sales Manager META – Digital Pathology responsible for Leading the Digital Pathology Business and Team in META region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Own & monitor at an international level, the Digital Pathology strategic sales opportunities in assigned countries through our Channel Partners – from opportunity identification to implementation, managing the opportunity at all stages via our channel partnersDeliver on the assigned digital pathology regional revenue and profitability targets.Maintain a sufficient and healthy digital pathology funnel and account for accurate forecasting as per the phased monthly targets.Develop other LBS DP team members & Channel Partners’ associates on all aspects of Digital Pathology commercially, providing trainings where necessaryPartner continuously with the Account Managers & Application Consultants with our Channel Partners and Regional Sales Managers to ensure consistent above-market growthEstablish buy-in from our Channel Partners, increase and sustain digital pathology business focus, and execute on agreed developed action plans.Go-to person for all Digital Pathology related issues and queries, supporting the Channel Partners as required, e.g. tender issues, customer contactEstablish and implement KPIs for measuring business success.Engage and develop relationships with relevant stakeholders (internal, Sales, Marketing, Applications, Technical Services, Shared Services and Business Unit) across the business.Develop knowledge and skills for the utilization of effective sales tools such as Salesforce.comCreate value selling and develop smart pricing modelsApplies DBS tools in all areas to maximize results and business optimization.

The essential requirements of the job include:

University Degree around IT & Informatics, Pathology, Histology, Biomedical, Engineering and/or Imaging, or software applications3 years’ Channel Partner management experience or direct sales experience with a proven sales track record.5 years’ experience in demonstrating digital medical devices, software applications and presenting digital healthcare solutions to a wide customer audienceKnowledge of the PACS, DICOM, HL7, LIS Integration and archival systems in hospitals and labsEffective customer engagement on all levels with the ability to establish unique value propositions.

Travel Requirements:

Ability to travel min 50% internationally and across Middle East and Africa

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Digital Pathology / Pathology imaging software or Digital Radiology.

Languages: English and Arabic fluency is a must; French is a plus.
