Description The overall scope of this role is to be able to manage the operations of Pool & Beach Area and Kid’s Club to deliver an excellent Guest experience while achieving the Department’s annual budget and driving the team to meet and exceed revenue targets.

•\tManage operations of the hotel’s Gym recreation center and Pool & BeachManage operations of the hotel’s Gym recreation center and Pool & Beach
• Assist in recruitment of new staff members for Recreation Department
• Instill brand values and standards to maintain quality on a daily basis •
Ensure that employees provide guests with friendly and consistent personalized service.
• Respond positively to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved
• Ensure that all team members receive the appropriate trainings in terms of customer care, fire safety and First Aid.
• Ensure health, safety regulations are properly followed by team members and guests
• Ensure that employees are highly motivated in order to provide a high quality service and ongoing development, and able to maintain a good team spirit.
• Ensure periodic performance assessments of all staff members.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise· Management and/or supervisory experience within the leisure sector· Ability to meet financial targets· Ability to work under pressure· Excellent grooming standards· Strong organizational skills· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Willingness to develop team members and self· Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations· Ability to work on your own or in teams· Working knowledge, without assistance, of Microsoft Word, Micros and Excel computer programs
