Job DescriptionThe role holder will lead the Real Estate Services (RES) project management function towards the successful delivery of the full life cycle of Real Estate capital projects undertaken by ensuring effective decision making in terms of planning, initiation, resourcing, execution, governance, risk monitoring and integrated control through to completion, in line with the Bank’s strategic objectives.
He/she will manage compliance with related legal, regulatory, environmental and safety standards.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a built environment discipline – e.g., construction management, interior design, architecture, civil engineering, or quantity surveying.
Master’s degree in construction project management, or business administration is an added advantage.
Professional project management certifications e.g., PMP, Prince2, CCM, PMD or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience Required
Minimum of 7 - 10 years relevant experience in managing construction projects with a good understanding of banking sector requirements.Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.Strong track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders.Managing and engaging with various stakeholders at a senior level.Familiarity with relevant local and international building codes and standards as well as banking regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Technical Competencies
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.Advanced knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning and scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera).Financial acumen including budget management and cost control.Risk management and problem-solving expertise.Understanding of sustainability and green building principles.Knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) best practices in construction.Strategic thinker with strong decision-making abilities.Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.High adaptability and resilience in dynamic project environments.Ability to provide technical guidance when required.Additional InformationBehavioural Competencies:
