Record to Report (R2R) offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, process-driven environment focused on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement. It provides a valuable experience in US GAAP financial reporting, subject matter expertise in full end-to-end process supporting your professional growth
Your main tasks: Handle journal entry preparation and posting, validate trial balances, and complete month-end close activities including financial reporting using HFM. Perform general ledger accounting, manage fixed assets, execute treasury-related tasks, and handle intercompany transactions in line with global standards. Reconcile accounts regularly, identify financial risks, and follow up on any discrepancies to ensure accurate and reliable financial data. Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX regulations, and local statutory requirements by performing control self-assessments and maintaining proper documentation. Support internal and external audits by preparing required information and coordinating with auditors and tax advisors. Contribute to process improvement and finance standardization initiatives within the R2R function, including ongoing global projects. Assist in onboarding R2R processes for new or non-complex entities and ensure critical procedures are covered in the business continuity plan. Support and guide junior analysts while also acting as a backup for senior accountants when needed. Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders, participate in regular business unit meetings, and communicate effectively to align on finance activities. What your background should look like: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 2+ years of experience in General Ledger or Record-to-Report roles within a financial shared services environment, supporting multiple countries or business units Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is a strong plus Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) Prior exposure to R2R processes in a shared services setup Comfortable working in culturally diverse, cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Italian Organized, self-disciplined, and able to manage deadlines independentlyABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY
