As an R&D Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and guiding engineering initiatives that drive the development and enhancement of innovative products and services. You'll drive and assist cross-functional R&D teams—spanning software, hardware, testing, and information design—within a dynamic, multi-site environment.
In this role, you'll act as a vital coordinator between the global engineering organization and local teams, ensuring alignment and partnership. You’ll also manage the full lifecycle of product development and releases, working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including product management, supply chain, quality, and procurement, to deliver impactful solutions.
You have:
A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or Equivalent and brings over 15 years of experience in software development within Telecommunications Networks, with a strong background in cloud-native architecture, microservices development, and guiding large, cross-functional teams from design through deployment.Demonstrates ownership of product and software architecture at the system component level, with expertise in requirement evaluation, feature design, and end-to-end development aligned with modern cloud-native principles.Possesses hands-on proficiency in a wide range of technologies, including containers, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, virtualization, databases, gRPC, CI/CD, DevOps, and open-source integration—paired with strong problem-solving, debugging, and coding skills.Adept at navigating complex, ambiguous situations and resolving conflicts while fostering partnerships in diverse, fast-paced, and agile environments—reflecting a startup mindset and engaging in delivering high-quality results under tight timelines.Experienced in managing cross-functional interfaces, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, handling customer escalations, and clearly articulating technical design solutions to key partners and clients.It would be nice if you have:
