The Business Data Cloud & Insights (BDCI)- BDC&I Planning & Analytics organization is looking for a Test Development Engineer to strengthen the quality assurance of our next generation cloud-based Analytics platform with product expertise, quality acumen and automated processes using latest technologies.

The Quality & Performance team in the BDC Planning & Analytics Cluster is responsible for the delivery of test scenarios reflecting end to end customer workflows, helping to validate the functional correctness of the new releases of SAP Analytics Cloud in an integrated landscape and using diverse data.

 

As Member of a development and quality team you will be expected to:

Contribute to programmatic development of end-to-end customer like use cases and to their automation and will be contributing to the integration of these scenarios in our continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Contribute to creation of Test scenarios simulating the customer use cases, acquire or generate test data, configure test environment, perform Manual Testing of the application with product feature expertise skill. Keep up technically and collaborate closely with your peers and with the Development teams to contribute raising the quality bar to the highest level.

What you bring

6+ years’ experience as a Software Developer or Quality Specialist working in Cloud software University degree in Computer Science (or related subject) Strong acumen for quality, high sense of service and customer. Proficient on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java and/or database Experience in test automation (Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Jasmine, Jenkins) appreciated. Familiarity of client-side technologies and development in complex environments. You have excellent analytical and communication skills. You are a team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and a high degree of personal initiative. Knowledge and exposure to AI technologies will be an added advantage.
