Position Summary

Inspects and evaluates components to determine if they are compliant to all HydraForce specifications.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Inspect components to determine if they are compliant to specificationsDocument inspection results as requiredSubmit Non-Conformance reports for goods failing inspectionNotify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying these problemsDiscuss inspection results with those responsible for productsRecord inspection data using established programs and softwareFollow all clean-up and housekeeping proceduresComply with all safety and sanitation regulationsComplete any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

Ability to walk/stand for long periods of timeLift and move a minimum of 20 pounds without assistanceWorking with small partsRepetitive hand/arm use

 

Work Environment

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerSome of the work time is spent in a warehouse environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high

2.30 p.m- 10.30 p.m

 

 

Qualifications

Knowledge/ Experience

A high school graduate or GED2- 3 years’ experience in mechanical inspection and manufacturing environmentAbility to follow inspection processes and plansPrevious experience with quality control equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges preferredProficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and OutlookSome experience with technical specifications and blueprintsThe ability to see details at close range Work independently with little supervisionExhibit ethical independence and judgment of the parts and processClear communication

Additional Information

The US hourly rate is $19- $21.30 and $2/hour shift differential. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
