The Position
QA Supervisor, Packaging Inspection Training

Essential Functions
Supervise the daily activities of Packaging Inspection Trainers and the qualification process for employees who perform packaging inspection. Schedules Packaging Inspection Trainers and manages the workload based on business priori-ties. Coordinates the employee qualification schedule working closely with business partners that perform packaging inspection. Collaborates and communicates with support functions such as Inspect Pack, Quality Assur-ance, and the MS&T Defect Laboratory. Reviews and approves GMP documents ensuring adherence to good documentation practices and data integrity. Plan, lead, and facilitate training events. Assess effectiveness of technical training activities and processes Provide information and collaborate with site investigators; own corrective and preventative ac-tions as necessary to improve the training process. Supports and leads continuous improvement projects. Support regulatory inspections as a subject matter expert for Packaging Inspection Training. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and over-sight from manager Coach, mentor, lead, Packaging Trainers. Take corrective action as necessary on a timely ba-sis and in accordance with company policy. Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Must comply with EHS responsibilities for the position. Working conditions will be Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioned controlled. Ability to operate within a clean room environment as needed.
Qualifications
High School/GED, required Bachelor’s degree, preferred 0 - 1 years of leadership experience 3+ years GMP experience, preferably in packaging inspection Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements
Technical Requirements:
Proficient in Excel, Word, and other office systems Ability use quality systems software such as TrackWise®, ComplianceWire® Ability to understand and independently apply CGMPs to everyday work Intermediate understanding of pharmaceutical and/or production operations Ability to interpret data and analyze trends to provide insight into potential issues Seeks best practices for daily work activities
