Are you looking for new challenges? How about becoming the overall QA Manager for our NDCX Shopping activities in the SIO department?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced QA Manager to join our NDCX Shopping and Pricing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products and services, including developing test strategies, overseeing end-to-end activities, following up on test campaigns, making Go/No-Go decisions, and more. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional results on our modern technology standard for airlines to sell tickets and services more efficiently (NDCX) in our new Cloud Environment. As QA Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all testing activities for NDCX Shopping within the NDCX program.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and Organize Tests: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies.Identify Potential Risks: Proactively manage and mitigate risks.Make Sign-off Decisions: Provide authoritative sign-offs at each phase.Track User Acceptance PTRs/Defects: Ensure thorough tracking and resolution.Communicate Testing Status: Effectively update stakeholders on progress and issues.

About the Team: 

NDCX program activities are integrated into a SaFE program, which consists of various trains. All NDCX Shopping and Pricing deliveries are managed within a single train that includes multiple closely collaborating scrum teams. You will be working alongside dedicated QA engineers who focus on NDCX activities.

About NDCX Shopping and Pricing: 

NDCX (New Distribution Capability eXperience) is a modern technology standard for airlines to sell tickets and services more efficiently. It enhances:

Personalized Offers: Tailored deals for customers.Dynamic Pricing: Better and competitive prices.Improved Shopping Experience: Easier booking and managing of flights.Seamless Integration: Smooth interaction between different systems.

In short, NDCX modernizes airline sales, making the process more efficient and customer-friendly.

Your Main Responsibilities

Act as the QA Representative for Customers: Establish and drive the vision and strategy for quality assurance.Develop, Implement, and Maintain Test Strategies: Ensure compliance with CI/CD guidelines, Green IT guidelines, and all quality guidelines (SDL, STDL), Shift left approach, QA best practices/standards from the industry.Coordinate Cross-functional Testing Activities: Manage testing efforts that involve multiple Amadeus teams, including End-to-End testing activities.Analyze Testing Requirements: Assess needs for internal BU or cross BU.Oversee Comprehensive Testing Processes: Lead the planning and execution of various testing phases, including brush tests and UAT, both internally and with customers.Monitor Test Campaign Results: Track and follow up on the results of test campaigns performed by QA Engineers.Provide Sign-offs: Ensure functional, non-functional, and non-regression validations between each phase of the life cycle.Monitor Software Quality KPIs: Track and report on quality metrics throughout different testing phases.Make Critical Quality Decisions: Participate in top management discussions for Go/No-Go decisions.Follow-up on Issues: Trigger actions to ensure product sustainability.Engage with Stakeholders: Serve as the main point of contact for customers' QA managers and collaborate with internal teams, project managers, and subject-matter experts.Ensure Quality Performance: Be accountable for the quality performance of NDCX, ensuring all quality standards are met.Support Customers During UAT: Guide and assist customers throughout the User Acceptance Testing process.Report on Testing Progress and Quality Metrics: Prepare and present detailed reports on test progress and key performance indicators to stakeholders.Collaborate with Development Teams: Work with commercial and cross-functional test teams to prioritize requirements and streamline execution.

About the ideal candidateAt least 3 years of experience as "Test manager" or "QA Manager"Strong quality mindset.Excellent coordination skills.Ownership and accountability.Good communication and presentation skills.Good knowledge of the Airlines domain.Fluent in English.
