QA and Testing Associate Analyst

The Position:

Reporting to the QE Manager, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring on quality and on time delivery of test planning, test data preparation and execution activities in the delivery of Testing new or modified applications/systems across multiple platforms. The QA & Testing Associate analyst will be a high-performing individual who is methodical, inquisitive and has a passion for quality. They will partner with their Scrum Team and business colleagues on a journey of continuous learning and improvement to ensure ongoing optimisation of our test automation and execution capability in support of key strategic outcomes for our business. 

Working across our International Health IT Team to deliver successful quality product with a focus on SAFe Agile, while you work with individuals from across the world, with both in-person and remote teams.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

Cover both functional and non-functional aspects of testingBe involved in the entire software delivery lifecyclePerform testing for API and Mobile application. Participate in test script review, monitor, and report defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing processDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.Creating and executing test scripts in test management tool and reporting bugsDetermine priority for test cases and create effective execution plans with maximum coverageParticipate in PI & Sprint planning and other Agile ceremoniesDevelop skills in new automation tools to improve the automation penetrationContribute towards implementation of new ideas & solutionsAdheres to the organization's Quality Engineering best practices and help to drive changes to achieve more efficiencyShould Acquire deep knowledge and understanding of the overall application landscape.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline and at least two, typically five or more years’ experience in a system quality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience0 - 1 Yrs. experience in QE - Test AutomationTraining completed from reputed training institution in Functional and Automation Testing.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.Experience/Knowledge in testing web-based applicationsKnowledge on testing Mobile application and APIs.Functional Testing SkillsFamiliarity with Agile and Continuous deliveryGood to have Knowledge on any automation toolsKnowledge on APIKnowledge on all phases of Test Cycles (Test Design, Test Reviews, Test Execution, Defect management & reporting)Broad knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle with specific expertise of Software TestingCompetent user of Microsoft office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsComfortable working independently or as part of a teamDemonstrate accuracy and possess a keen eye for detail

Desirable Skills and Experience

Exposure to API through POSTMANExposure to Browser stack and any automation toolExposure to test management tools like JIRA or any other tool.Program Language proficiencyKnowledge on SQL
