DescriptionReporting to the Training Manager, the trainee will be responsible for learning and familiarizing with various activities and operations within their departments. He/she will be required to uphold company policies and requirements at all times.

Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Departmental Trainer and Training Manager, the intern shall learn to:\nManage department contracts and purchasing requests.\nEstablish, update and maintain departmental files and records.\nCreates databases, performs data entry, participates in purchasing projects by researching or providing relevant information; prepares reports accurately and within the allowed time frame.\nAuthorizes payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.\nLiaison with the accounting department to reconcile invoices and purchase orders.\nKeeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.\nProvides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.\nTo understand and strictly adhere to the Hotel’s Employee rules & regulations.\nTo report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.\nPerforms any other duties as assigned to him/her by management.\n
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nDegree/ Diploma in Procurement from a recognized learning institution\n No work experience is required\n Less than one year since completion (2024/2025)\n Kenyan Citizen\n Completed coursework (If even if not graduated)\n Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment\n Excellent grooming skills and must be well-versed in professional and personal etiquette\n Good Communication skills\n Outgoing with a positive learning attitude\n
