Job DescriptionAs the Purchasing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting key purchasing and quality initiatives, with opportunities to collaborate across departments including Engineering, Quality, and Materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with identifying and coordinating cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement effortsSupport the Purchasing and Quality teams, as well as internal stakeholders, by providing data analysis, documentation, and process updates.Maintain and update cost-tracking summaries; ensure accurate communication with relevant team members.Conduct audits of purchase orders (back details and communication)Help maintain compliance documents within the purchasing master list.Coordinate sample parts with the Manufacturing and Engineering teams.Support engineering change processes and engineering-to-order activities.Collaborate with the Materials team on ongoing and upcoming projects.QualificationsQualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related fieldMinimum GPA of 3.0Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills requiredStrong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on communication, collaboration, and active listeningHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environmentAdditional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
