About this opportunity

Ericsson seeks a Project Planner in Plano, Texas; hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance, who will serve to Support Customer Project Manager (CPM) and Project Team by offering specialized insights into project planning and scheduling, outlining the necessary reports needed for efficient control and monitoring of the project.

What you will do:

Support Customer Project Manager (CPM) and Project Team by offering specialized insights into project planning and scheduling, outlining the necessary reports needed for efficient control and monitoring of the project. Review and understand the contractual terms and conditions about scope, schedule, PO (Purchase Order) issuance, invoicing and acceptance process, and transpose these into clearly defined deliverables. Identify the correct order, dependencies, interconnections of the specific work packages. Work with the Customer Project Manager (CPM), and Planning Object Owners, to establish and maintain the baseline, plan, and forecast dates in the digital project activity management platform, Sitetracker. Review and contribute to the identification of applicable process to be used for the project execution. Identify clear measurable lead time for specific tasks including acceptance planning. Break down the project work into clearly defined work packages, including duration estimates. Create project milestones for a structure to be used in digital project activity management platform, Sitetracker, for tracking and reporting. Develop work plan templates with clearly defined milestones and manage site specific work plan(s). Identify forecast, run rates, and date logic and notify project team of needed adjustments of the project schedule. Monitor critical path and perform re-planning by tracking changes affecting rollout plans and key deliverables. Proactive identification and notification of needed actions to Customer Project Manager (CPM) on project performance, process adherence and forecasting compared to project schedule, accomplishments, key issues and red flags along with a response plan. Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance. Requires 10% Domestic Travel.

You will bring:

3 years of experience working in a project management related capacity. 3 years of experience in coordinating project activities across the stages of the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, controlling, implementation, and delivery. 1 year of experience in using digital project activity management platform. 1 year of experience establishing project in a digital project activity management platform based on deliverables and input from the project stakeholders. 1 year of experience in advising and consulting project stakeholders on proper project setup, execution, monitoring, and control, customer contractual commitments in digital project activity management platform. In lieu of 3 years of experience, employer would accept a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Telecommunications, or a related field and 1 year of experience in a project management related capacity.
