Your Role: 

Will be responsible for providing technical, management, and staff assistance for a variety of infrastructure-related projects, primarily involving the planning and design of water/wastewater/stormwater pipelines, treatment facilities, pump stations, and storage facilities. 

Assist with the execution of projects from conceptual planning phases through final plans, specifications, and estimates, bid packages, and construction support services.  Write technical specifications and technical reports for infrastructure-related projects for water, wastewater, and/or stormwater pipelines and facilities.  Maintain existing client relationships and help develop new project opportunities.  Ensure technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects.  Identify alternatives, resolve technical issues, and interface with other disciplines.  Plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner.  Achieve financial targets in relation to project profitability and utilization.  Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. 

 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.  5+ years of experience in civil or environmental field.  Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil or Environmental Engineering, registered in Texas, required, or able to obtain licensure in Texas within 6 months.  Valid Driver’s License with and acceptable driving record.  Background will ideally include related project work in water infrastructure.  This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or more
