Job Description:

Ensure all the operations of “Oxfam-World Vision Myanmar Crisis Response” project funded by AHP in Kachin and Chin State run smoothly and reach the target in time while managing through the 1 WV operating team and 3 implementation partners team with senior M&EO

Give necessary fragile context solutions to problems put up by subordinated according to ground situationsFacilitate the progress, quarterly, interim and final reportsEnsure project activities are in align with Logframe activity and financial supplements and give necessary feedback to WV team and implementation partnersGive decision on project implementation as necessaryProject fund is monitored and give feedback as neededProvide leadership to responsible WV team in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project

Ensure designated field staff use project resources effectively and efficiently

Manage designated field team to ensure that they are working according to agreed plans and taking good care of the project equipmentReview and recommend on activities and financial related advances submitted by subordinatesEnsure the quality of project management and the community own the development process

Coordinate between WV implementation partners, AHP field team, Area Manager, Sectors Coordinators, Community and other stakeholders

Provide operational support and to avoid overloaded activities at any point of time at the village and camp level interventionsAttend management and/or coordination meetings regularly and provide field level better practices and challenges to other team membersProactively engage with UN agencies, other INGOs/LNGOs, government ministries, and faith based organizations to address any challenges and improve the efficiency of project

Accountability & Quality Assurance

Ensure timely submission of reports to the Support Office/Donor office on non-financial mattersMeasure, document impact, and working closely with WV’s Technical teamEnsure industry codes of conduct (Red Cross and Red Crescent Code of Conduct, People in Aid) and performance standards (Sphere) are to be applied to all our work Ensure that the project is implemented in time and within the approved budgetDocument and disseminate best practices and lessons learnt.

Knowledge/ Qualifications for the Role

Required Professional Experience

3 years managerial experience in related area

Required Education, training, license, registration and certification

Bachelor degree in any disciplineMaster Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Business Management, Community Development

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
