Working here, you’ll feel part of a family that is dedicated to making a difference and helping others. **Main Purpose of Role** The Project Engineer will manage administratively small to medium scale projects, including, but not limited to: • Utility / Facility /Infrastructure installations • Office, lab, and manufacturing areas • Manufacturing Facility and equipment upgrades • Warehouse expansions **Main Responsibilities** • Assist in managing multiple projects concurrently. • Manage project financials, including maintaining budget and cash flow projections • Assist in project scope, cost estimate, and RCE development • Works closely construction teams to manage schedule, resources, scope, and adherence to internal and external standards and specifications • Provide procurement activities including sourcing/qualifying suppliers & service providers, preparation for competitive bidding, adding new vendors to Abbott’s procurement systems, processing purchase orders and invoices, tracking on-time deliveries, etc. • Provide coordination with project team and stake holders • Provide communications of status and upcoming activities to project team, stakeholders, and management **Education/ Years of Experience:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, STEM, Project Management and 1- 2 years of experience **Preferred** + PMP + OSHA 30hr or equivalent + First Aid / CPR certification **Learn more about our benefits that add real value to your life to help you live fully:** www.abbottbenefits.com (http://www.abbottbenefits.com/pages/candidate.aspx) Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that provides the growth and strength to build your future.
