The position
As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the Project Vice Presidents within the department, managing project budgets and developing comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, and resource allocation.

 

Your other key responsibilities include:

Coordinating activities across the Global Project Team, regional sub-teams, broader functional teams, as well as organizing ad hoc meetings Preparing and submitting monthly project reports, as well as drafting scientific communication related to project activities and writing meeting minutes  Managing calendars and preparing presentation slide decks for various interactions, adjusting project plans as needed according to governance and dependencies Creating and maintaining a comprehensive stakeholder list, along with a strategic plan for their involvement and information 

 

Additionally, your role involves following-up on project plans, workstream progress, and milestones, engaging stakeholders continuously, especially when unforeseen challenges arise.

 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine you:

Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field Demonstrate relevant practical experience in a similar role within a complex, matrixed organization  Possess strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels  Showcase fluency in both written and spoken English

 

Previous experience with project coordination or management in a pharmaceutical R&D company is an advantage.

 

As a person, you are structured and organized, caring for details accuracy.  You are collaborative and open to other opinions and views. Proactive and quick to learn, you bring an action-oriented approach, able to operate in a dynamic environment with multiple concurrent tasks.

 

About the department
The position is anchored in the Internal & External Projects department that is part of the Cardiovascular & Renal Disease Therapy Area within Research & Early Development. We are fully dedicated to bringing a diversified portfolio of potential novel treatment options for patients living with cardiometabolic diseases into clinical testing.
