Job Description:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Draw implementation plans and budget ensuring Quality Assurance Standards.Develop intervention strategies that leverage resources and expertise from within World Vision and from our partners in the private and public sectors.Support and motivate project team members and partner staff to be able to work in more innovative ways for efficiency and effectiveness.Build and maintain good relationship with each respective person from partner organization and project teams, technical support teams and other stakeholders.Set up coordination schedule with partner organization and work closely with partners in terms of project planning, implementation and monitoring.Provide feedback to the partner organizations on their performance in a timely and constructive manner.Attend coordination meetings and represent WVM regularly.Engage with UN agencies, other INGOs/LNGOs, government ministries, and faith-based organizations to redress any challenges and improve the efficiency of programming in disaster management.Build the capacities of partner organizations on livelihood program implementation and provide technical support.Coach and mentor program staff and partner organization in all aspects of quality program

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

At least 3 years of experience in project management around humanitarian assistance or disaster response is essentialProven experience in coordinating with multi-sectoral projects, including Protection, WASH, MPCA, and NFI is preferableDemonstrated ability to work effectively in complex and sensitive environments.Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including local partners, government agencies, and donorsBachelor's degree in any subject is essentialIn-depth knowledge of international humanitarian standards and protocols is preferableStrong skills in scenario planning, strategy development, and project documentation.Excellent communication and writing skills.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and internet.
