Key Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator will assist the Program Manager in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the project. He/she will ensure that the project promotes a conducive and advanced learning experience for youth and adults in the target areas—specifically Tacloban City and the municipalities of Sta. Rita and Balangiga in Samar—and delivers sustainable outcomes in line with the approved project design.

In collaboration with the AP teams from VFO and LFO, organizes the project area level of EduTech: Transforming Education with Technology Project (FUJITSU) planning, implementations, monitoring, progress reporting and evaluation.Project activities are implemented in timely manner according to Detailed Implementation Plan. Monthly Indicator and activity achievement as well as budget utilization are in line with agreed contract with the donor.Responsibly implements the agreed project activities/targets in areas assigned in coordination with the designated POs/teams in VFO and LFO;Initiate coordination with relevant stakeholders in the project site and established formal partnership forged with signing of MOU/A if necessaryClosely coordinate with Program Manager and support functions (e.g. Technical Program Managers/Specialists on Education, and Child Protection etc) and teams (Operations, ICT, Finance, SMIL, GAM, Supply Chain, Communications) to ensure effective coordinated project organizing and quality results.Ensure consultative and inclusive planning and feed backing together with the AP teams, schools and partners at the project levelFacilitate implementation of Education and technology project in the target area as per the detailed implementation plan in alignment with donor and government requirements.Facilitate training of information technology related and roll out of the training to targeted beneficiary together with school.Support project management in meeting minimum quality standards, improvement, reflection, learning and innovationMonitor and collect data of project implementation regularly and report the progress and challenges and lessons learned to the Program Manager.Prepare input distribution plan, facilitate the distribution, collect and document input distribution list and report to Program Manager.Ensure that proper distribution plans are prepared and approved by the concerned Supervisor sufficiently in advance to enhance efficient field operations.Monitors progress of target completion and provides regular updates/reports on agreed schedules with Program Manager. Regular and ad hoc reporting was done timely as requested by supervisors and donor.At the end of each month, prepare relevant reports for submission to the WVDF and donor.Ensure that Field Visit Reports, beneficiaries monitoring report are prepared and uploaded in WeConnect on a regular basis.Represent the project together with the Program Manager and maintains coordination at government agencies20%
Ensure that proper and adequate logistical arrangements are made in conjunction with the distribution plans.Monitoring and report collection, host donor and national office staff field visitsEnsure with SMIL that all documentation and records pertaining to the beneficiary registration is updated periodically with relevant information on distribution conducted.Ensure that proper procedures for activity implementations are followed through the provision and each beneficiary receives support according to the plan activity.Ensure that all the necessary quality and timely reports are prepared and shared to appropriate stakeholdersEnsure project information is shared, complaints are managed correctly, and feed backs are provided to the complaints, and beneficiary selection is validated by relevant stakeholders.10%

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Business Management degree holders are preferred (other graduate degrees with a similar role in community development projects for more than 3-4 years of experience is also acceptable).At least 2-3 years of experience in similar roles in Education, Livelihood and DRR-related projects and programs. Previous experience in working with the most vulnerable people is a plus. Experience in working closely with Education and livelihood is mandatory. Experience of working under fragile conditions is an advantage. Required Education, training, license, registration and certification. Have good understanding of GESI, community led activities and local advocacy.Have good understanding of child and adult safeguarding.Competency in using computer applications (such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook).Excellent communications, networking, alliance building and facilitation skills.Keen to details with strong technical writing skills.Skills in data analysis, decision-making, and communication skills.Culturally sensitive, calm and mature in dealing with people and social concerns.Applicant Types Accepted:
