**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
+ To define, plan, coordinate and integrate activities associated with systems; equipment, processes and materials. These activities include coordination of Scoping, Definition of projects, team meetings, schedule development and Design Control Activities (including validation).
+ Document and maintain all project related plans, schedules, budgets (where applicable), meeting outputs, Management reviews, etc. Identify and deliver on cost improvement initiatives and promote a continuous improvement culture.
+ Track and report project status and progress to ADC Management. Maintain costings for projects and report to account holders. Functionally manage individuals in order to deliver projects and / or deliverables. Functional management for individuals supporting own projects or running projects of their own.
+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously internal to ADC and with TPM partners. Lead/support tactical and strategic initiatives that deliver on both short- and long-term organisational deliverables.
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Managing projects and deliverables within agreed constraints of time, cost and quality.
+ Devising scope, schedules, resources and costs.
+ Lead and be part of cross functional project teams involved in business-critical projects, including new product introduction or development projects, major design change projects and other ADC business critical initiatives.
+ Tracking and delivery of projects to the agreed schedules, scope and budget.
+ Responsible for identifying potential risks; managing risks through mitigation, alternative approaches or acceptance of risk.
+ Communicating and developing good relationships with internal ADC functions, ADC management, external suppliers and external regulatory bodies.
+ Document and maintain all project related plans, schedules, meeting minutes, Management reviews, etc.
+ Track and reporting of project status and progress to ADC Management in an effective and efficient manner. Adapt presentation style to audiences.
+ Facilitate discussions on challenging project topics in order to gain consensus or remove project roadblocks
+ Identify areas where improvement to procedures and systems can be made to improve efficiency across the business
+ Know and apply knowledge of health and safety procedures.
+ Provide a level of guidance to teams and individuals on project management methodologies to widen understanding.
+ Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management
+ Represent the interests of the department within the business.
+ Provides supervision to subordinate, sets goals and gives performance appraisals. Asks for feedback and ensures team members have current development plans (when managing functionally). Provide management with feedback (e.g. performance and development needs).
+ Encourage and promote a lesson learnt, continuous process and cost improvement culture.
**EDUATION AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**
+ Bachelors Degree in one of the following fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math.
+ Can demonstrate a history of managing projects and delivering successfully.
+ Knowledge of Project Management tools such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
+ Good interpersonal and presentation skills are required in leading cross-functional team and communicating project status. Some experience in product development or manufacturing in a medical device product is desirable but not essential.
+ This position requires the ability to collect information from multiple sources, sort through, integrate, and resolve often conflicting requirements, and drive an organization through the various issues to result in a successful product launch.
+ Experience and qualification in Lean Six sigma Green/Black belt training preferred.
