This position works out of our Plymouth MN location in the Electrophysiology medical device division. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
Individuals in this role will work on a new product launch supporting the operations team as a 2nd shift (3:30pm to 2:30am Monday - Thursday) technician. Activities include support in setting-up, calibrating and operating basic machines and equipment, following production schedules and quality standards, monitoring production processes, and troubleshooting simple production problems. Troubleshoots and resolves basic technical problems from the product line/process to minimize reject levels and escalates problems when necessary.
What You’ll Work On
Front line senior process technician supporting Operations team and repair and maintenance tech team.Support products which include production equipment, process improvements and cost reductions.Learn manufacturing processes, techniques and best practices and support Operations team in coaching assemblersSetting-up, calibrating and operating basic machines and equipment, following production schedules and quality standards, monitoring production processes, and troubleshooting simple production problems.
Troubleshoots and resolves basic technical problems from the product line/process to minimize reject levels and escalates problems when necessary
Assist maintenance team to ensure continuous operation for production equipmentAssist engineers in troubleshooting safety, quality or process issuesPerform scrap dissection and support investigation into potential root causesSummarize information to communicate across shifts and with other functional areasIndividual should:

The base pay for this position is $19.15 – $38.35 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
